Baby Sister is HERE!

Oaklei Pualani Wong came into our lives Tuesday morning 845 am. She weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.  we are still in the hospital but i wanted her birth story up and thought now that i have some down time would be the best time cuz who knows how crazy it will be once i get home...
On Monday we went to our doctor apt baby sister was already 2 days late and when the doctor checked me he said that I was still not dilating at all. Then he told me that he would like me to go into the hospital today and get her heart monitored and her fluids checked to make sure that she was still ok and nothing was going wrong. he told me that I had the option to be induced on Thursday or do another stress test that day and see him the following monday and talk some more. We decided that we would think about the inducement and just take things one day at a time...
Well we went and did the stress test little baby passed just fine. Everything was looking good. However they were seeing that I was having a lot of contractions and little breaks between them but I could not feel these at all.

So we went home. Jordan went to work Kherrington and I went grocery shopping with Amy. Nothing was happening we all thought that she would be in for awhile. That night I did my normal work out. I was having some contractions while working out but as soon as I finished they stopped. Jordan came home and I made dinner then we watched tv and he then kicked me into the shower. I got out and was having TONS of contractions. and boy were they hurting. But they were getting shorter and shorter and farther apart so I did not think that I was in labor. We went to bed at 1am and I was feeling just fine...3min after crawling into bed I had a HUGE contraction. I looked at the clock and told my self it was nothing and to get some sleep. Then another at 130..then 150..then 2..then 3-5min apart after that. I woke Jordan up told him I thought I was in labor. I told him to pack some things for K just in case and we would wait on calling the Palmers til I had a couple more contractions just to be sure. Well we called them about 230 and told them to hurry over cuz I was in labor. We then called shani and told her to head over the hospital so she could be there and our parents so they would know! We got to the hospital about 3am and they checked me and said I was dilated to a 3 and they would keep cuz of the contractions (and I went really fast with K).
They moved me into a bigger nicer room and told me that they would send the doctor in for epidural asap. (they were getting really bad) Well he comes in and did his thing we were all talking and joking (he was 10x better than my last guy i could move afterwards!) Then all of the sudden my heart rate jumped to over 250 (avg 80-90) they asked me if my heart speeds up alot and I have had this happen every now and again while Im pregnant but never when im not. I never thought it was a big deal because it didnt last long and nothing came from it. Well I got into trouble with that. They then had to monitor me for a long time. Got my heart back down then afterwards my heart rate would be in 130-160 range from there on out. I started to get a lot of chest pressures and tightening and shortness of Breath. They figured that this was all getting spiked with the epidural so they turned the drip line off. (i didnt know if i had an issue with k cuz they gave me my shot then we delivered right afterwards).Plus my blood pressure was dropping as well. Everything started to get better they did an ekg and everything looked good. my contractions were coming back and were getting very painful and close together. They turned my drip line on but only with a small dosage and I went to pushing shortly afterwards. So needless to say I delivered my adorable little baby girl with very little epidural. I hope I never have to do that again and feel sorry for anyone whoever has to do this! It did motivate me to continue pushing and not stop (only pushed for 10min) cuz I was in tons of pain and wanted her out asap. We got her out and I only tore and got 1 stitch on the outside (k i had 2 stitches on the inside). Baby was healthy and did just fine as my blood pressure dropped and heart sped up. she is such a trooper!! The docs then told me I needed to see a cardiologist and get my heart checked out cuz even though it only happens while pregnant (so far) it needs to be checked on to see if something is wrong and hormonal changes causes it to get worst.
That day we were all doing fine I was the patient that all nurses hid in the room with them to get away from everyone else (yes they told me haha) that night Amy and Woody were visiting and we were laughing and hanging out when i decided i needed to pee. I stood up and felt something start coming out. I sat back down and told jord. I then stood up again and felt the same thing happen again. I ran into the bathroom and was followed by tons of blood and huge blood clots coming out (little k was on my tail "mommy u ok? whats happening") lol luckily amy grabbed K pulled her away frm the blood. The nurses all ran in and helped me get cleaned up kicked everyone out and tried to figure out what was happening. Well my doc felt fine with this since my levels were all still fine and I was not lightheaded or anthing. Then it happened again...still levels fine and i felt fine. They decided to try and make the blood come out slowly instead of all at once. to do this they needed me to have contractions (ARE U KIDDING ME I JUST WENT THROUGH THIS) well they gave me some meds to make the contractions come back. My parents came by and stayed with us for awhile before going to my house so they could stay with K. As soon as they left the contractions were WORST than ever and I was nauseated... they gave me some pain meds and some zofram and i quickly started to like life again. Later that night I woke up in a pool of blood and kept bleeding. Since I was feeling fine and levels fine we felt that there was still no need of worry (when ur pregnant ur body provides more blood than ever so i had a lot of blood to loose before it would effect me if jordan lost this amount of blood he pass out..) i stopped bleeding about 6am and my doc came in to check on me about 8. he then told me the best way to check for lightheadedness was to take a hot shower (which was needed since i had blood all over my back) so jordan helped me and i did it. I felt fine and things were looking good. I was hoping to get let go today but with last nights blood lost and another huge clot coming out I am staying.
We are loving being a family of 4. K loves her little sister. she loves to hold her and kiss her. She is an excellent big sister and is soo cute. We cannot wait to get out of this hospital and be home with K!  I am so grateful for all that my family has done for us! SHani was here for the delivery, amy and woody taking K, and my parents for coming up and staying with little K. You guys are all amazing and we love you!!
