Sometimes as being a mom you wonder if you are raising your kids well enough. I try to teach Kherrington to share, be kind, and loving to all around her but I still wonder how much of it clicks in her little 2 year old head. While picking her up today from nursery the leader pulled me aside and said "I want you to know how sweet and caring your daughter is" I said thank you she is a sweet heart and didnt think alot about it because not bragging but we are told this alot about Kherrington. Well she then said "no I am serious. We had another kid (who actually was her daughter) start getting very upset and unhappy and there was nothing that we could do to calm her down. Your daughter walked up to her and got her distracted and started playing with her because she wanted to "make her happy" as she put it". I almost cried. We have been working with Kherrington to help make other kids happy for awhile. She obviously willingly does it as she loves babies but as never done it on her own. Its the little moments like this where your child reaches out to another to help them out that you know that you are done something right. I love my daughter to death and she really is something special. She loves to help out and has the kindest spirit I've ever seen and always has. She has always been a happy very well behaved baby. I love her to death and after hearing this story I pulled her aside and I told her how proud I was and how happy it made me to hear that she did that for another little girl. I love my daughter and so thankful to have her in my life.
